Netball simply wouldn’t happen without the time, talent and expertise of the incredible volunteers at every level of the game. We want to celebrate the outstanding work that all our volunteers do to make Netball happen across the country, and to thank you for the time, effort, and energy that each and every volunteer gives to make our sport bigger and better.
Each year, regions host a local volunteer event called the ONE Awards, where volunteers are nominated by their local club, school, league, county or region across various categories. The Regional Winners, along with Honorary Life Members and Long Service Award Winners, gather with other great names in netball to come together and celebrate the contributions and achievements of our unsung heroes at the National ONE Awards. There are 10 categories across each region.
More information on the nomination categories, including the nomination forms themselves, can be found on the National England Netball website..
London and South East Regional ONE Awards Celebration 2024
The 2024 London and South East Regional ONE Awards event was held on Sunday 23rd June at ISH Venues, London. It was an afternoon of celebrating the great work volunteers across the Region have been doing.
Photographs from the event can be accessed by clicking the 'View Here' button at the bottom of this page.
The 2020 awards looked very different from previous years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and took place virtually on Friday 30th October. Social distancing may have prevented us from celebrating in person, but it did not stop us from coming together as a region to acknowledge the extraordinary commitment and dedication to our sport. With speeches from netball legends Sheelagh Redpath and Joan Mills MBE, over 60 volunteers and England Netball staff tuned in to the virtual awards to celebrate.
A huge congratulations to all of our nominees, and best of luck to our winners in the National Goalden Globe Awards.
