With so much netball happening in the London and South East Region there is always a demand for coaches. Below are some of the opportunities that have been received by the Regional Office. If you are looking for something closer to home it is always worth approaching your local clubs as it is very rare that clubs have too many coaches! If you need help contacting local clubs your Netball Development Officer can help put you in contact.

Netball Coach - Hotshots Netball Club

We are a vibrant young social netball club, open to all levels and abilities. Established over a year ago, it has gone from strength to strength. We do not participate in leagues but instead play friendlies against local sides about 4 times a year.

We are looking for a level 2 coach to take over all aspects of coaching. We’d like her/him to bring with them bags of energy, fun, and passion. All our players young and old(er) love this club and what we have created and would dearly love someone to continue growing its success.

As a Lead Netball coach, you will be responsible for a group of up to 20 children of similar ages to coach netball at an introductory level. You will be developing skills, game play and knowledge of rules.

For Back to Netball, we have a group of up to 20 women with a range of fitness and competitiveness, ranging from athletes to once a week netballers. All full them share a passion for the game. Game play and skills are still required as the experience is varied.

We need the following sessions covered:

Back to Netball

Tuesday           7.30pm – 8.30pm

Year 4 (8 yrs – 9 yrs)

Saturdays        2pm – 3pm

Year 5 & 6 (10 yrs – 11 yrs)

Saturdays        3pm – 4pm Year 5 & 6

Orleans Park School, Attenborough Hall, Richmond Rd, Twickenham TW1 3BB

  • Must be 17 years old minimum
  • Ideally have Netball qualifications
  • DBS Checked
  • Reliable & Punctual
  • Good sport playing standard
  • Great class management

Requirements

  • Highly personal with great communication skills
  • A love for working with children
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK
  • You must be able to speak English fluently
  • You must be currently living within a commutable distance of this vacancy

Netball Coach - Whyteleafe Netball Club 

Whyteleafe Netball Club are looking for an enthusiastic new coach to train their 3 teams of varying ability. Training is on a Wednesday evening 8pm to 9.30pm at Royal Russell School, Croydon. As well as training the new coach would be required to attend some matches on Saturdays. The club plays in Met and Surrey leagues. Ideally level 2 coach required,competitive rates of pay. Netball Coahces - England Sports Group

England Sports Group are looking for Level 1 and 2 netball coaches for school classes and Holiday Camps in the Richmond (Thursdays) and Esher (Mondays) areas – one or two hours per week. As a Lead Netball coach, you will be responsible for a group of up to 15 children of similar ages to coach sports at an introductory level. You will be developing skills, game play and knowledge of rules in either a Netball class with the sports changing on a weekly basis.

You will liase with the Schools Director during the week on a regular basis and they will give ongoing support and training during the term for the after school lessons.

Coaches with sports coaching qualifications and background will be favoured.

Positions will be after school lessons and Holiday Camps.

Induction Training provided and ongoing training.

Maccabi Great Britain are looking for coaches for their 2 squads for team GB in the Maccabiah Games 2021.  The event takes place in Israel in the last 2 weeks of July & is one of the biggest international sports events engaging over 85 different countries.

We will have 2 Netball squads: Juniors age 14-18, and Open age 18+.

We are looking for coaches for both squads as well as a selector to come along to the trials.

The preliminary Junior trials are on 5th January at 2-4pm at JFS School in Kenton, Harrow.

Netball Coach - Bolingbroke Academy 

Bolingbroke Academy are looking for an experienced Netball coach, with a Level 2 qualification to deliver engaging and fun sessions every Monday or Tuesday at SW11 6BF with sixth form students. Payment will be £20 per session. Sessions will take place after school from 3:30-4:30pm and run in term time.
