On Saturday 8th June 2019, a Surrey & South West London Walking Netball Festival was held at Manor House School in Leatherhead.
Eight teams turned up to play, with three teams entered in the ‘Wiggle & Giggle’ competition and five teams entered into the ‘In It to Win It’ competition. It was great to have so many wonderful ladies together celebrating the fun and friendliness that surrounds Walking Netball!
Congratulations to Horley Hackers who were the winners of the ‘Wiggle & Giggle’ competition and to Egham All Sorts who were the winners for the ‘In It to Win It’ competition.
Other awards included ‘Most Friendly Player’, ‘Most Helpful Player’ and ‘Most Improved Player’ as voted by fellow participants.
Thank you to Terri for sorting all the refreshments and hosting at the venue, thank you to the umpires and a big thank you to all the volunteers who helped run the event.
