Yoga for Netballers

Yoga for Netballers

The London & South East Regional Netball Association are proud to present 'Yoga for Netballers'. This is a 3-part series of online yoga and meditation classes taking place over Zoom, available for free for members of all ages from the London and South East Region. The sessions will be led by Trina Sutcliffe, a qualified Yoga Instructor and avid netballer.

The past few months have been extremely difficult for the netball family, and during lockdown it has become tricky to find time for ourselves. Our hope is that these sessions will provide you with some practical tools to help ease stress, find joy in movement and help prepare you mentally and physically for our return to the netball court.

Details for the 3 sessions and the registration link can be found below. You can attend 1, 2 or all 3 of the sessions if you choose. Please note there is a maximum capacity for the sessions and spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you register for a session and can no longer attend, please do let us know so we can allocate the space to someone else.

Trina Sutcliffe – Yoga Instructor (www.yogamovebreathebe.com/

"I currently play for Hyde Park Netball Club (North London), have played netball for over 20 years through to Regional Level and I am a full-time yoga instructor with advanced qualifications in anatomy. To keep our bodies and minds healthy and sane whilst we can't get on the courts I created Yoga for Netball classes and have been working alongside many clubs to help build strength, stability, mobility, focus, awareness, co-ordination, balance, and a positive mindset amidst these uncertain times. It has been so exciting to combine two of my greatest passions - yoga and netball - and I am so happy to be able to share a taster of these sessions with you all.  If you have any yoga-related questions before the classes feel free to drop me a message on instagram @yogini.trini "
