Officiating

Officiating

The Officials are the third team on court, without whom the game would not happen. England Netball supports its extensive playing programme with a fully developed officiating department offering assistance from grass roots up to the elite international level.

Officiating Courses and Mentoring support are both available across the London and South East Region. Both Into Officiating, C award and B award courses are organised by the County Netball Associations, whilst A award courses are organised nationally.

If you are interested in becoming an umpire or technical official, contact your County Netball Association for further information.

The Officiating Pathway allows officials to plot their own learner journey through a range of qualifications. Below is a diagram of the Officiating Pathway for information on how the qualifications progress.
