INTO OFFICIATING UMPIRING COURSE

An umpiring course is being arranged for those candidates, affiliated to England Netball, who would like to learn the basics of umpiring. The tutors are Jane Kelloe and Jean Jones. Please note that attendance at an Into Officiating course (or equivalent) is a condition for eligibility to attend a C Award course in Essex Met.

The cost for this course will be £45 for candidates affiliated through Essex Metropolitan and £55 for candidates affiliated through other Counties.  Applicants whose Essex Met clubs are CAPS-accredited are entitled to a 20% discount (cost £36) and applicants whose Essex Met clubs are CAPS-registered are entitled to a 10% discount (cost £40.50). 

Course materials, Rules book, workbook, scorecard & whistle will be available-the cost is included in the course fee.

Cheques or Postal orders should be made payable to "Essex Metropolitan Netball Association" and sent to me at the address below with your club/school name and affiliation number. If a receipt is required, please enclose a stamped addressed envelope.  Please note that, unless a receipt is requested, no acknowledgement will be sent ie the applicant has been accepted, unless advised otherwise. Payment by bank transfer can be made to Sort Code: 08 92 99, Account number: 65422500, Reference IO course. Please note that bookings without payment will be held for 7 days only.

The course will run from 10.00am until 4.00pm. There will be a break of up to 30 minutes for lunch. No refreshments are available on site, so please bring your own lunch/drinks. Please come attired for playing. 

Please apply early as the maximum number will be 16.
