ESSEX METROPOLITAN NETBALL ASSOCIATION C AWARD UMPIRING COURSE

at Redbridge Sports and leisure Centre, Forest Road, Barkingside, Essex, IG6 3HD
An umpiring course is being arranged for those candidates who would like to work towards the C Award. The tutors are Phyll Karkoski and Jane Kelloe. Please note that prior attendance at an Into Officiating course (or equivalent) is a requirement for eligibility to attend this course.
This course is an “official” C Award course, tutored by an England Netball-accredited tutor and attendance is a requirement for eligibility to take the C Award assessment. C Award course materials and Rules books will be available-the cost is included in the course fee.
The cost for this course will be £45 for candidates affiliated through Essex Metropolitan and £55 for candidates affiliated through other Counties. Applicants whose Essex Met clubs are CAPS-accredited will be entitled to a 20% discount (cost £36) and applicants whose Essex Met clubs are CAPS-registered will be entitled to a 10% discount (cost £40.50).
Cheques or Postal orders should be made payable to "Essex Metropolitan Netball Association" and sent to me at the address below with your club/school name and affiliation number. If a receipt is required, please enclose a stamped addressed envelope. Please note that, unless a receipt is requested, no acknowledgement will be sent ie the applicant has been accepted, unless advised otherwise. Payment by bank transfer can be made to Sort Code: 08 92 99, Account number: 65422500, Reference C course. Please note that bookings without payment will be held for 7 days only.
Please apply early, as the maximum number will be 16.
The course will run from 10.00am until 4.00pm. There will be a break for lunch of up to 30 minutes. Please bring your lunch/refreshments, as no refreshments are available on site. Please come attired for playing and bring a whistle and notepad/scorecard.
